Maketory is an industrial makerspace facility home to San Diego's most talented makers, artists, craftsmen, and entrepreneurs. Opened in December of 2019, Maketory is home to a state of the art machine shop that includes a full wood shop, metal shop, blacksmith shop, prototyping equipment, dedicated studio space, and coworking offices. By bringing all facets of a startup under one roof including machinery, studio space, storage, and shipping and distribution capabilities, makers and small business owners have a space to grow and develop their concepts at a fraction of the traditional overhead costs.
