Textile design demo with Valentine Viannay

Valentine Viannay will demonstrate how she designs a pattern, sharing the design process from concept to transforming an image into a screen to produce and print on fabric. Valentine will then illustrate how she prints, to create a Furoshiki, a Japanese tradition that involves a large multifunctional square of fabric. Attendees are also invited to visit her studio/gallery L’Atelier in Mission Hills during Design Week to view the designs in person and learn more about the textile printing process.
