Co-designing With 7.1 Million: Our Bid To Become The World’s Design Capital

As part of the San Diego-Tijuana bid to become the 2024 World Design Capital, the Design Forward Alliance and the University of California San Diego Design Lab, together with the megaregion’s 7.1 million denizens, are harnessing community-driven design to ensure a human-centered, open, multi-disciplinary, multicultural, and experimental home for all living things, people, and planet.

Our interactive Zoom Q&A session during San Diego Design Week will not only provide you with a behind-the-scenes look at our collaborative process so far, but also invite you to participate in the next stages of the planning and implementation process building up to the 2024 bi-national design challenges and events.
