Community Placemaking and Identity of Public Parks in San Diego

Public parks have the power to transform neighborhoods in significant ways, and can create important placemaking identities for communities. In this virtual presentation, hear how a new urban mini-park is set to replace a deteriorating and under-used parking lot in North Park, and how other parks in San Diego give new life to community spaces. Hear from San Diego Landscape Architects, KTUA, as they present some recent transformational public park projects.
