Seeing ICA: From Vision to Visual Identity

How does an ambitious idea turn into an evocative narrative and brand identity – one that elevates a new organization to the international stage of contemporary art?

The Institute of Contemporary Art, San Diego (ICA) Strategy and Public Relations Consultant Brent Foster Jones, and MiresBall principal and Creative Director John Ball will discuss the journey to bring two arts venues together as one brand. See the process unfold, from defining the vision and developing the visual identity to bringing it all together to tell the story and highlight San Diego as an arts destination.

Attendees are encouraged to visit the ICA to experience first-hand its “living laboratory of art and ideas.” During San Diego Design Week, the North (Encinitas) campus will be hosting the Torres Martinez Desert Cahuilla Indian Tribal Community in partnership with Hans Baumann and artist-in-residence Christine Howard Sandoval.
