Reimagining Restaurant Design

In this conversational forum, the teams behind highly recognized Jeune et Jolie and Callie Restaurant discuss the way they approach restaurants from a guest-experience perspective.

Join us as Greg Bleier of Studio UNLTD teams up with Callie Chef/Owner Travis Swikard, Jeune et Jolie Owner John Resnick, and Chef Eric Bost to discuss their current mindset and what the future holds.

Attendees will learn about the intersection of restaurants and design and the synergy between them in creating the overall guest experience. This panel discussion will guide guests on the journey of creating a restaurant from a design perspective and all that plays into it from start to finish. The event will take place outdoors at Callie Restaurant with small bites prepared by the Callie and Jeune et Jolie teams, with opportunities for Q&A.

About the hosts

Travis Swikard / Callie Restaurant

Callie is Chef Travis Swikard’s California-Mediterranean restaurant inspired by the flavors of the Mediterranean coastline that he became immersed in during his time cooking at Boulud Sud, one of iconic French chef Daniel Boulud’s New York City restaurants.

John Resnick & Chef Eric Bost / Jeune et Jolie

Jeune et Jolie aims to reimagine French cuisine through the vibrant lens of our Southern California landscape. The indoor and outdoor space portrays the exuberance of the young and curious: carefree and light-hearted with touches of Parisian polish balanced with the casual, California coast culture.

Greg Bleier / Studio UNLTD

A native of New York City, Greg earned a B.A. in studio arts from the University of Pittsburgh and a B.S. in interior design from the University of Cincinnati before relocating to Los Angeles, where he founded Studio UNLTD.

The firm quickly developed a specialty in custom hospitality design working with such acclaimed concepts as Bestia, Bavel and Otium. The award winning design firm is equally adept at the varied disciplines of interior architecture, furniture and lighting. The firm understands that the heart of a project is generated by the client and serves as a means of transforming those ideas into a successful and tangible manifestation of a concept.
